Sundays between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM ET. Placed through our Bakesy link — delivery addresses outside the Wildwood/The Villages area cannot be accepted.

Sunday preorder pickup. The only way to get fresh, perishable bakes.

Statewide shipping

Anywhere in Florida

Cookies, approved cake-slice boxes and hand-blended teas ship USPS Priority Mail to any Florida address, from Pensacola to Key West.

Outside Florida

Not available

As a Florida cottage food operation we can only sell and ship within the state. Checkout will not offer shipping methods for out-of-state addresses.

Pickup vs. delivery vs. shipping

Local pickup is for everything we bake. Preorders are collected sundays between 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm et in the Wildwood/The Villages area.

Local delivery is available only if you are inside the Wildwood/The Villages area. Place that order through our Bakesy link and choose the delivery option at checkout — we'll bring it to your door on Sunday afternoon.

Shipping covers the rest of Florida. Cookies, approved cake-slice boxes and our hand-blended teas travel beautifully. Cinnamon rolls, Japanese milk bread, scones, muffins and specialty items are local pickup or local delivery only — they are at their peak within hours of baking and we won't send them any other way.

Processing & transit

  • Orders are packed Mondays and Tuesdays after the weekend bake.
  • USPS Priority Mail, typically 2–3 business days within Florida.
  • Tracking is emailed the moment your label is created.

Packaging

Everything is wrapped in food-safe kraft, nested in recycled crinkle fill, and boxed with a ribbon and a handwritten card. Teas ship in resealable pouches with brewing instructions.

Rates

  • Flat $9 shipping on Florida orders under $60.
  • Complimentary shipping on shippable Florida orders of $60 or more.
  • Local delivery fees, if any, are shown on Bakesy before you pay.

Damaged or delayed packages

Carrier delays are outside our control, but we'll always make it right. Email a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll replace or refund the affected items.

Shipping Policy

Sugar Mama's Cottage Bakery currently offers shipping on select products only.

  • Shipping eligibility is displayed on each individual product listing.
  • Orders containing products marked Local Pickup/Delivery Only cannot be shipped.
  • Shipping dates are separate from delivery estimates. Once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery times are determined by the carrier.
  • Sugar Mama's Cottage Bakery is not responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, holidays, transportation interruptions, incorrect addresses provided by the customer, or other circumstances outside of our control.
  • Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.
  • Because our products are freshly baked and perishable, please retrieve packages as soon as possible after delivery.
  • If there is an issue with an order upon arrival, please contact Sugar Mama's Cottage Bakery as soon as possible and provide photographs of the package and product.
