Meet Ruqayyah
Wife, mom, and the heart behind the oven.
Ruqayyah is the baker. She grew up believing that the best way to love people is to feed them, and that belief still shapes every recipe that leaves this kitchen. Everything is made from scratch — doughs mixed by feel, fillings cooked down slowly, frostings whipped to order.
Her baking is unapologetically comforting: soft Japanese milk bread, cinnamon rolls with real butter, cookies that taste like someone's grandmother made them. She sources thoughtfully, chooses organic ingredients whenever possible, and keeps everything dye-free, because what goes into her own family's hands goes into yours.
Meet Veronica
The organizer, the planner, the growth behind the dream.
Veronica is the business partner who turns a batch of good ideas into an actual bakery. She brings organization, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping Sugar Mama's grow thoughtfully rather than quickly.
With a background in health and wellness and current studies in Dietetics, she keeps our commitment to quality ingredients honest — thoughtfully sourced, organic whenever possible, and always dye-free. Intentional baking, in every sense.

Menus drop active mondays at 11:00 am et, preorders close fridays at 5:00 pm et, and local deliveries run sundays between 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm et.
